1873 – HalleNsalon

At the hotel’s heart, the historic salon turned into a hotel hall and now transformed into a lounge bar. Named after the hotel’s birth year, 1873, it is the current stylish venue for guests both local and international. A cozy Imperial salon reminiscent of a library, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind in comfortable armchairs beneath dazzling crystal chandeliers. Legends has it that a young apprentice cook called Franz-Xaver Loibner created the recipe of the Imperial Torte. It was the year of the opening of the Hotel Imperial, 1873. And it was in honour of his Imperial Highness, Emperor Franz Josef I. That much about the myth.
